Piano Tabs - learn to play piano
Knowing what piano tabs are is among the basic things for anyone to learn to play piano. A lot of people fall in love with the piano because of the many beautiful sounds that it can create. Music is of course something that melts everyone's heart. This could also be among the reasons why a lot of this generation now has the desire to learn the art of playing musical instruments like the piano in particular.
Indeed, the piano gets so much respect among people, and music lovers in particular because the music that comes from it is simply one of the most wonderful sounds that man can create. For those who are aspiring to play the piano, the easiest way to do so is to learn what piano tabs are. Take a look at the following steps and learn to play the piano far easier than most pianist in history have.
The most basic thing that you would have to do is to familiarize the piano itself. You will not be able to learn how to play the piano if you are not going to even take a look at it, feel curious at how each piano key sound or to even check why there is such a thing called as a cabinet. When you are able to familiarize the whole of the instrument, it will be much easier for you to play with ease and to even tune the piano on your own.
As with the piano tabs, the very first thing that you should remember is to understand what is written. This consists of several lines and each of the line begins with a number and bar. The numbers are the ones indicating the octave the notes on the line are in. To be able to determine the octave, you could count up starting from the first C. As soon as you get to the second C, you are in the second octave already and so on.
Second, you should see each of the line. You could notice that each line has letters. These letters correspond to the note that you would have to play. The lowercase letters are the regular keys meaning the white once and the uppercase letters are the black keys. For example, C means the black key to the right of c and so on. With piano tabs, you would have to remember that all flats are written as the same note as a sharp.
Third, remember that you have to play two notes consequentially. That means that if two notes are directly above each other; play them at the same time.
Lastly, the dashes or the greater than (>) sign could mean hold or is inserted to make the piece more readable. They are inserted in between notes to indicate spacing.
With piano tabs, you will be able to play your favorite music piece without having to go through the very technical lessons. Music should be played with all of your heart and that does not mean that you have attended the best school in town to be called a good musician.
